When people talk about being in God’s will, one central truth that usually comes up is that the best place to be is at the center of God’s will. This is very true. Now, there are 3 important things you need to know when you are in God’s will. There are giants to kill, purpose to fufill and people to lift.

Giants To Kill

The best place to be is in God’s will even though there are giants there. It is the best place because you are at your strongest. If you have been doing God’s word then you are strong for strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14). Problems will not disappear because you are now in God’s will. There will always be challenges where ever you are but when you are doing God’s will you become a giant slayer. You settle problems not just cover them. Look at Jesus when he walked on the earth. He was lead by the spirit of God and he walked in the will of God. God even said thou art my beloved son in whom I am well pleased (Mark 1:11). Yet he faced challenges, why won’t you? He was in a ship with his disciples and there came a great storm of wind. The disciples were even shouting for their lives, telling Jesus, carest thou not that we perish? (Mark 4:38). Jesus spoke to the wind and the storm ceased. Think about David. He killed a giant. This giant was a highly trained and experienced soldier more than him and yet he won. He was at the centre of God’s will. That is why he won. If your being led to do something. If your heart is pushing and you are sure its God will to do it, go ahead. You are at your strongest there.

Purpose to fufill

The best place to be is in God’s will because there is purpose there. The road of purpose is a steep road. It means that it is a higher ground. It demands you to come up higher (Revelation 4:1). Joshua was a personal assistant to Moses but that did not stop him from leading Israel to the promise land. Joseph was a slave and a foreigner. The odds against him were high yet he became 2nd in command of the whole of Egypt. David on his road to being King was a delivery boy, bringing food to his brothers as well as the captains of the Israel army before his opportunity came. His brother tried to shut him down. King Saul tried as well to discourage him but he refused to cave in. It may seem that all you see where you are is walls and different things resisting you but refuse to quit. Keep on running. Run through the troop and with God leap over the walls (Psalm 18:29). As a believer, nothing outside you can stop you except from the inside. The main battle area is between your ears which is your mind. The devil uses circumstances to reinforce his words so that we can think defeat and then accept it. But God gave us his spirit. He gave us his life so that whatever he says we are, is what we have become. In football, it has been observed that teams are stronger playing at home than when they play away. It is not a matter of skill but rather of mindset. It plays the same way with some believers in Church. There are people who can pray 2-3 hours in church but cannot even pray 15 minutes outside of the church. The Teams that believe every game counts will become champions. Believers that go into the world to take over are the ones that will fufill purpose.

People To Lift

The best place to be is in God’s will because it is a place of service. Jesus came not to be served but to serve and give his life as a sacrifice for many (Matthew 20:28). We are not problem makers but the answer to peoples cry. Companies make products or services to meet problems. Transportation at one time was a serious problem. It took months to travel from one place to the other but planes were invented to solve that. We are the product that God has made to meet people’s need. Thousands of lives are attached to you. They are waiting for you. A product that does not meet the need it is created for is a failed product. Jesus said, Go into all the world….. (Mark 16:15). That is where we are to give our service. If we are not meeting the needs there then we have failed to walk in God’s will. When Jesus looked at the people, he was full of compassion. When you look at the world, what thought occupies your mind? You have been sent by God the Father, in the name of Jesus to change lives. It is your responsibility and the Lord is with you always to make it happen.
